Dames Anglaises
OpenK3+moderately difficult to difficult

The Dames Anglaises via ferrata is a short but serious alpine line above Pierredar, with a setting that feels closer to a secured mountain climb than a playful ferrata. It rises on rocky terrain beneath the Glacier de Prapio and is best treated as a high-mountain outing, with the usual attention to weather, conditions, and timing.
The approach from the Pierredar hut is about 45 minutes, and the route is often combined with a longer mountain day to Scex Rouge, the Cabane de Prarochet, or the Col de Prapio. Expect a route that is demanding for its character rather than its length, with exposed sections, a notable crux near the start, and broad views over the glacier and the Diablerets massif.
