Lavanchy Via Ferrata
OpenK4difficult

The Lavanchy Via Ferrata above Pont de Nant is a compact, sporty line tucked into the forest at the foot of the Vaud Alps. It is short, but it asks for steady movement and a bit of commitment, especially at the start where the hardest section comes early. Expect a steep limestone wall, a brief overhanging passage and then a diagonal ramp before the route finishes more directly to the top. The approach and descent are longer than the ferrata itself, so it works best as a half-day outing with careful route finding.
