Via Ferrata La Videmanette 1 is the easiest line on Le Rubli above Rougemont and also serves as the normal descent. It is a short, well-marked route with a modest height gain, but the setting still feels alpine and exposed in places. The climb makes a direct line through the southeast flank, with the upper section leading to the summit cross and book. It is a good option for confident walkers who want a secured mountain outing without committing to a harder ferrata. The route starts from La Videmanette and can be combined with the cable car access from the valley. Rental equipment is available at the valley station, which makes it practical for visitors who do not carry their own gear.
