The Senda ferrada on Piz Mitgel is less a quick adrenaline hit than a proper mountain outing. It climbs the broad south-west face of the northernmost peak of the Bergüner Stöcke, combining airy ferrata terrain with a three-thousand-metre summit and wide views over Graubünden and beyond. The route is demanding enough to ask for stamina and steady concentration, but it rewards the effort with a clear alpine line and a memorable summit experience. The approach starts from Plang la Curvanera, and the mountain setting keeps the day feeling committed rather than purely athletic.
