The Tichodrome section of the Mauvoisin via ferrata is the more committing part of the route and asks for solid fitness as well as comfort with heights. It threads its way through the gorge with long suspension bridges, a 75-metre rock band fitted with 400 rungs, and plenty of exposure that keeps the focus sharp. You can stop after the first crossing if you want a shorter outing, but the full line is a rewarding mountain challenge. Equipment rental is available in the valley, and the route is open in the summer season.
