The Via Ferrata La Face climbs the shady north face of Le Moléson and is one of the mountain’s two fixed routes. It starts from the same approach as the Pillar line, then heads into a long, well-secured wall with traverses, short steeper passages, and some airy sections. The route is generally demanding and feels most serious at the harder variants near the finish. With about 220 metres of ascent, it is a compact but athletic outing that suits dry conditions and a calm head. The panorama opens up as you gain height, but the main impression is still the direct, rock-hugging character of the line.
