Via Ferrata Schweifinen - Route C
Route C is the long, athletic continuation of the Schweifinen via ferrata above Zermatt. It is typically tackled after Routes A and B, so the day demands good stamina as well as confidence on steep, exposed terrain. The route moves through wall sections, traverses on airy ledges, and includes ladder passages that add variety and commitment. In places you are very much in the open, with broad views down to the village and across the slopes. Plan the outing carefully, carry proper via ferrata equipment, and keep an eye on the weather throughout the day.
