<strong>La Resgia</strong> is a sporty, well-secured via ferrata above the waterfall on the edge of Pontresina. It is short in distance but climbs steadily, so it asks more of your arms and stamina than the map might suggest. Expect exposed passages, a rope bridge, and the route’s best-known cruxes: the “Eagle’s Nest” and the spider’s web. Both can be bypassed, which makes the line more flexible than its reputation suggests. The approach is straightforward from the village, and the finish lies below Alp Languard, with descent options back to Pontresina or onward to the chairlift area.
