The Chäligang via ferrata is a short but scenic alpine route above Engstligenalp, combining easy climbing with a strong mountain setting. From the valley station, plan on about a 20-minute approach before the secured section begins. The route climbs roughly 300 vertical meters and is rated K2, so it is on the easier end, yet it still asks for surefootedness and attention. Water, rock and wide views are part of the experience, with the Engstligen Falls often close at hand. At the top, the mountain restaurant or raclette hut makes for a natural stop before the descent.
