Via Ferrata Hornfluh Right

Via Ferrata Hornfluh is a short, compact route above Schönried/Saanenmöser that works well as an introduction to via ferrata technique or as a quick alpine outing. The climb is rated K2 and is described as taking only about 10–15 minutes, with the approach equally short from Hotel Hornberg. East-facing terrain and the open mountain setting give it a pleasantly airy feel and, at the top, a wide view over Saanenland. It is important to note that this route is not meant to be tackled independently. Access is only possible with a mountain guide, and special equipment is needed for elements that cannot be solved on your own, such as the tyrolienne. The result is a small but memorable guided adventure rather than a long, committing climb.
