Via Ferrata Languard

Added as an extension to the older La Resgia ferrata, the Languard section climbs a steep rock barrier toward the upper station of the Languard chairlift. It is short, but it is not casual: overhanging steps, airy traverses, a wooden balance beam and a three-rope bridge keep the route engaging from start to finish. This is a route for fit climbers who are comfortable with exposure and sustained arm work. The descent is by chairlift or on foot via Alp Languard and the Röntgenweg. The SAC classifies it as K5.
