The Tälli via ferrata is a classic line above the Tällihütte and one of the pioneering ferratas in Switzerland. It climbs a very steep wall that turns from angled rock to near-vertical, but the route follows a natural line and is generally well secured. The opening section is steep and airy, with ladders, traverses and enough exposure to make the setting feel serious without becoming overly difficult. The reward is a big mountain atmosphere and wide views over the Gadmer Dolomites. Expect a solid half-day outing: the climb itself takes around three hours, with the approach and descent adding more time. The SAC rates it K3, so it suits sure-footed, reasonably fit ferrata users who are comfortable with heights and steady movement on protected terrain.
