Gemmi Adventure Via Ferrata

The Gemmi Adventure Via Ferrata sits on the historic Gemmi Pass above Leukerbad, just below the cable car mountain station at about 2,300 metres. It is less a classic vertical via ferrata than a playful high-alpine adventure route, with a mostly horizontal line beneath the mountain restaurant and lift station. Expect a varied and scenic outing with plenty of steel, space and exposure, but no long summit push. The route is rated K3-K4 and is best suited to sure-footed, experienced mountain guests who are comfortable with heights.
