Mini Via Ferrata in Saas-Grund is a short, lively route that works well as an introduction to ferrata technique. From the valley station at Kreuzboden/Hohsaas, the approach is only a few minutes, and the climb itself takes about an hour before a short descent brings you back to Saas-Grund. It is graded K3, so it is not just a stroll, but it stays compact and manageable if you are reasonably sure-footed. Good shoes are important, and the locked ladder at the entry adds a small practical hurdle to the start.
