Lower Valais

In the French-speaking part of Valais, the via ferratas often lie in side valleys and above 2000 metres. In the 4 Vallées, two routes near Les Gentianes climb above 3000 metres, and in the Val d’Anniviers the Moiry via ferrata hangs above the reservoir. Further down the valley, the Via Farinetta in Saillon and the Niouc suspension bridge near Sierre are waiting. There are also routes in the Val d’Hérens, at the Lac de Mauvoisin and in Champéry.
